I’m a DevOps engineer based in Abu Dhabi. Before transitioning into IT, I worked as an Arabic–English–Russian interpreter.

My stack encompasses bare-metal Kubernetes, GitOps (Flux), Istio, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Ansible, AWS EKS and much more.

In my spare time, I tend to play chess, listen to music, and tinker with my tiny homelab server (an Intel NUC running Arch Linux).

I mainly listen to IDM classics (Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin), along with shoegaze and vaporwave.

I started playing chess seriously in October 2024 and I haven’t had much success yet (~550 rapid rating on chess.com).
